Last week, Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest was a top trending topic on twitter when he decided to legally changed his name to ‘Metta World Peace’. We caught up with the basketball player at the BET Awards this past weekend and asked him to explain why he chose to change his name. Though he didn’t really bring much clarity to the situation, he did say that the decision was made because it was progressive, positive thinking:
