I just can not see the value of those shoes at all the devil got people mind warped going crazy over shoes. Have we fallen this far for shoes that are not worth 150-300 .

  • Heaven’s Heart

There is nothing anyone can say to me that will convince me that his shoes, anyone’s shoes are worth all of that nonsense. They are JUST shoes! However the mindset of peoples minds have clearly gone to mush!
This is a sad example of how “asleep” people are. Anyone notice that in the article photo that it’s THREE black young men who are “selling” this article??!!! :o
    Wake up people!

Michael Jordan is just another cheating dog that had no respect for his ex-wife and now is about to marry a white chick that looks young enough to be his grand daughter. Why would anybody with a brain want to help this bozo live large and in charge by keep buying these ugly shoes?

  • Do Better

    Operative word…..”covet”

I’m sorry, they are describing as if it is a piece of art that will gain value. Jordan is like a car, as soon as you buy it, it will depreciate. Risk 101-Don’t waste money on something that is not worth investing let alone somebody’s else life. I think Jordan is highly responsible and he should make the sneakers more affordable and sale the shoes via internet to lower the massive lines and violence in the stores. I don’t (and never) see the hype about them.. Why waste 200 on sneakers when you can invest in your education????

    • Anonymous

I understand what you saying, but I still see Jordan at fault and I don’t see the hoopla about his sneakers. This man can live a lavish lifestyle off of others blood, sweat and tears. For what???? A pair of shoes that cost 5.00 to make? You are college educated (and so am I), so you were taught about risks and gains. I agree buying Jordan’s is a high risk, but what are you really gaining from them besides the name. He will release another brand of sneakers and the 11′s will be old news again!!!

    • Wayne

Actually, Jordans are a solid investment. Jordan’s that released 3-4 years ago sell for Triple the retail price. I personally have 10 pairs that cost me a total of 1,500 12-14 years ago. They can be sold easily today from 4,000 – 6,000. So if buy a Car, you meant a classic that keeps gaining value, then you were correct.

  • black_907

i have one pair of jordan and i  got it from the web. but other then that i dont really care about them! only thing that would get me to stand in line for those ugly concords is the money i could earn from selling these now or in about ten years

    • Dougie913

ok dude like exactly how MUCH do you really think you can EARN holding on to some damn sneakers for ten years?  Do you know how many other things you can invest in that make so much more sense?  I can’t believe how goddamn unsophisticated the thinking of my black brothers is in 2012.  Jesus Christ, Dr King is rolling over in his grave…”I took a bullet for this bullshit??”

  • 2012

MJ is laughing all the way to the bank on these “fools” out here spending top dollar on some shoes.  Sadly, I’m willing to bet over 90% of those buying his shoes don’t have a 401k, IRA, or Stock Investment. These “fools” think paying $200 for shoes is balling or Flashing $1000 on your Facebook account is balling? If you don’t have a house, a car, a retirement plan, and savings yet you got some Jordans, you need to really consider making some “life” changes in 2012.

My friend just met a chocolate man on Blackwhitemeet.COMit’s where for men and women looking for interracial’ship for a fabulous lifestyle
It’s a nice place for black white sing’les, to interact with each other…no bounds or extremes in front of true love.

And if yopu are fortunate to have a home, car, retirement plan, savings in a FALLING COUNTRY, you might wanna go into the hood, where these young Jordan sneaker heads are and ask them how do they survive in such uncomfortable conditions……..seems like your comfy. Wouldn’t going in and buying $180 pair of sneakers, then turning around and selling them for 2wice that amount be good business sense? I mean, no drug selling, gun selling….just sneaker selling now……………that looks like a decent change. right?

  • mikki

these ppl R just useless Zombies walking this earth controlled.  How wonderful is it to remake old shoes that probably cost $2 dollars to make & convince idiots to buy them all over again. Michael Jordon deserve every dime nickle & penny he gets out of these silly broke ghetto supper stars. Michael has done nothing but lavish in wealth & wine & dine with the upper class (so they call it) all with stupid blk ppl like this standing in line to give away their money. These ppl will be the same ppl that won’t last a week when the economic system collapses.

    • A Jordan 11 owner

Where you been the economy collapsed years ago. The value of the dollar dropped and the U.S. credit score fell a grade in 2011 so who is the zombie. The Jordan 11 is a hot shoe from a hot brand. The situation regarding the release of the shoe is unfornuate but your comment makes no sense. The spelling errors along with your lack of reasoning and bad syntax makes your statement bad.

  • http://twitter.com/currvalicious elaineL.

Pure ratchetness! so a pair of sneakers from a retired old head is worth being maimed and/or possibly killed?!  People please do better w/your mentality in 2012.

How truly sad that people place such value on a gym shoe – it shows how misplaced some folks’ value system can be.

  • truthhurts

This is just an example of subliminal control “THEY” have over. weak minded individual. Rob, kill, use drugs, catch diseases, hate your hair and complextion, drop out of school, worship money, and a thousand other commands are being feed to the masses. They

    • Yes It Does

“They”? “They” need to get in touch with your grammar teacher because your comment makes no sense at all. People need to stop blaming everybody else for their actions. That list you wrote don’t even go together. I understand the context but get it together.

  • Chris Brown

no shoe is worth killing sombody pushing little girls out the way or to the ground and no shoe is worth leaving your two babys in the car while you go inside to get a pair

    • Peanthy

well said you wanna find out how much these shoes really cost go to the so called replica sites that sell jordans and look at the prices of these shoes they cost 35 dollars at most !!!! i wonder why nike shuts those sites down so fast is it they dont want you to know the true cost of the shoes cuz u will then wake up out of the trance ur in. U wanna take that money and invest in silver and gold and stop trading ur paper currency for plastic garbage. In the next year you will be eating out of them Js or eating them to survive the devalue of the the dollar is coming people !!! WAKE THE FUGG UP !!! THE NWO IS GONNA KILL YOU !!!!!!

      • Ellsworth

I agree with the boy too but what you say is kinda off. What your off on is the quality of the real shoe. the authentics will last longer Yeah Nike shoes only cost about 15-45 dollars to make (I know from being stationed in the Pacific) but market demand will set the final price. You are right on the fact that there are people that shouldn’t be spending that much money on shoes when they got other priorties. But not everybody that got the shoes is under the influence of something crazy like the NWO though.

  • Sundoulos

If Michael Jordan is going to have his likeness & name on the shoe that he is endorsing, by default, he has a responsibility to the consumer.  He can’t say that he has nothing to do with the rioting, looting, shooting, killing, etc. if the shoe has HIS likeness on it.  He’s spending the money without problem.  They have been killing over Jordans since the late 80s, so it seems that he would’ve come with a solution to ease the tension behind his highly anticipated retros, but it wouldn’t be a (perceived) good business move, so he probably won’t budge on it.  People will buy those shoes WHENEVER they come out & if he put them out to the point where the consumer could easily purchase them daily, they would still sell out.  Look at the money he could’ve made by putting out more than he did.  If he can spend the money & invest responsibly, he can show some of that responsibility to his consumers as well…

    • Ellsworth

I disagree with Jordan having a responsibility in regard to his shoes. His product is not the only one people riot, loot, shoot or kill over. The problem is people that actually commit the crimes, you really think they’re gonna listen to Jordan if he says his shoes are not worth the violence? How many stop the violence rallys have been going on in the hood and where has that gotten us. On this particular shoe they should have wide released it, but it’s still no excuse.

    • JUSMEDLIN

of course they only showed blace people, but i’m sure there were plenty of whites buying those shoes as well. stop making everything a black and white issue, cause white people do some f#ck3d up stuff too.

    • Wayne

Do those investments have 100%-1000% ROI like Jordan’s? And last few times I’ve been to purchase Jordan’s, 80% of the line was White. Open your eyes, do some reading and then maybe when you speak, you can speak factual information. Instead of just hateful, ignorant, and uneducated opinion.

  • lilly

Only black people do crazy things like this. This is the reason they dont even have a savings, cant take care of their family, cant pay their bills and i can go on and on and on and on and on

    • JUSMEDLIN

I’m black, I have a savings account, I take care of my family. pay my bills, buying my home, getting my daughter ready for college next year and I’m in school and I can go on and on.  Lily get a clue, read a book and why don’t you leave that trailer park you live in and see the real world, you azz!

Extremely classy responding to an ignorant racial comment by also doing the same. So mature and put together to have what you say, yet you allow the ignorance of someone else to bring you to their level. Be better than the bullshit, don’t add to it.

  • ggg

idiots buying the same shows again and when he brings them out they’ll buy it again

  • REASONABLE MAN

WOW THIS IS OLD! This entire page is full of negativity. You people are a bunch of hypocrites. You find that just because someone spends a lot of money on shoes they’re crazy. Ask men and women why they buy $1000 Louboutins. If these people want to buy Jordan Brand shoes let them. IT’S THEIR CHOICE, NOT YOURS! You can’t call someone crazy if they do something you don’t understand. YOUR JUST AS IGNORANT AS THEM!

    • Wayne

The same people yapping about the shoes not being worth the price tag are the same people that will be rocking a $2,000 watch or wearing a $1,000 purse. Bet they also have no issue dropping insane money for “red bottoms”. Everyone enjoys different things. But lots of people like to judge others. Get over yourself and stop worrying about what amount of money is in the next mans pocket. Or better yet, Mind Your Own Business.
