After a woman at a Santorum event asked the candidate a question asserting Obama’s “avowed” belief in Islam, Santorum opted not to correct her. When the press asked Santorum why he didn’t, Santorum said it was not his obligation to correct the views of every person he doesn’t agree with.
President Obama has long dealt with American citizens under the impression that he is a Muslim.
