In Our Heads About Our Hair is a documentary investigating the different styles of black hair and  how they relate to the self-esteems of the women who sport them. Similar material was covered by Chris Rock’s 2009 documentary, Good Hair. The film will be screened at BAM’s New Voices in Black Cinema film festival in February.
