Mariah Carey and Katy Perry are rumored to join The X Factor in its second season. Carey was reportedly supposed to mentor one of the judges during one of the rounds that took place in the judges’ homes. Nicki Minaj is also rumored to be a contender. Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were let go as judges after the first season.
