Octavia Spencer Breaks Down During Oscar Acceptance Speech

    Sad Our ppl think it’s the highest achievement to Get award for playing a roll of a servant to The white women. Our ppl R so messed up & destroyed they don’t know when the master is playing them. Why not give her award for staring in a major movie as someones wife? They picked all dark skin women for this roll & where is Halley Barry? Paula Patton? or all the other light skin women? U blk ppl blind to see Esau is playing the Hell out of U. giving her this award is like the master giving her a treat for being his Bed winch. When they get tired of U all they gonna do is give U what they gave to Whitney Houston….       It is an Oscar award only the best of the best can achieve. I would not easily dismiss this achievement seeing Christian Bale (a White, rich, and successful actor in regard to your perspective).
      This is the award given to people who shined in their role, starring or not. Not every actors can obtain this. This is absolutely not a racism issue.
      I agree there are still racial issues out there, and demographically saying we are still far from the equality for reasons one long wall of text cannot explain. However, be caution to not overdo it and turn everything into a race issue. No one likes an extremist for whichever cause you believe in.
