Newsy reports that Whitney Houston’s final movie, the Sparkle remake, will be released as soon as possible, instead of on its original August release date. Sparkle will be Houston’s first time in the big screen since The Preacher’s Wife. The movie was supposed to be her “comeback” effort. Reportedly, the reason for the rush is to prevent leaks of Houston’s performance in the film.
