During the President’s first 2012 press conference, a reporter asked him a question about whether he wants gas prices to go higher. According to the reproter, some critics believe that higher gas prices would justify the President’s aim of adopting alternative fuels. Obama said that he didn’t want gas prices to go higher because they hurt families as they are now.
