Fat Joe celebrated the history of the Bronx’s role in hip hop. He addressed the Bronx as hip hop’s birthplace, and said that the success of the genre now is due to its cultivation in the borough. Fat Joe also discussed how he paved the path for French Montana’s rise to fame.
