Former DOJ Attorney Weighs in on Trayvon Martin and Hate Crime Prosecutions

David Douglass, a former attorney for the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, spoke with Thomas Roberts about whether there’s been a larger crackdown on hate crimes since 2009. Douglass also weighed in on the Trayvon Martin case. He also said that there doesn’t necessarily need to be a prosecution of Zimmerman to satisfy the American people–just a thorough and fair investigation of the case.
