David Banner told Hip-Hop Wired he refuses to criticize Tyler Perry’s work. Banner acknowledged that Perry is a successful director pursuing his passion, and said he didn’t want to join in with others tearing the filmmaker down. Further, Banner added that Perry proves blacks can truly make it in the Hollywood industry.
