Wow…I can truly understand with Tami on this one. I’m 42 and feel the same way with my mother. Molested at age 6 by a babysitter’s teenage son! The brothers of the molester still comes around my parents home till this day and when you tell the parents that you don’t want anything to do with the whole family because of….my father instantly says…everybody coming out saying they’ve been molested, like that’s something to make up! Yep…I feel her and that’s why I don’t have a healthly relationship with my parents to this day. I’m so jacked up mentally that I’ve managed to escape not having children. Yes it affects people differently.
