Unarmed 68-Year-Old Veteran Killed by Cops Responding to Medical Alert

Kenneth Chamberlain, a Vietnam war veteran, was killed after cops answered a medical alert he accidentally triggered. Although Chamberlain asked police to leave, they forced their way into his apartment and eventually shot and killed him. The autopsy shows that he was not facing officers when he was shot.

    I find it very difficult to believe that the police could not difuse the situation without resorting to killing a sixty eight year old man with severe medical problems. Police officers often shoot black men first then try to legally justify their actions. It’s a tragedy that a elderly veteran died a senseless death and the murderers are police officiers who were sworn to protect are serve the community equally and fairly. R.I.P. Mr. Kenneth Chamberlain.
