Cornel West and Tavis Smiley appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight and discussed the Trayvon Martin case. Smiley said that Martin’s death is a gun control issue that Democrats should have stepped up to better draw attention to firearm violence. West said that Martin’s death is the tip of a racial iceberg in America.
