First Black ‘Bachelor’ Hopeful Talks Whether Show is Racially Discriminatory

Lamar Hurd, an Orgeon sportscaster running an athletic program for youth, is campaigning to be the first black man featured on The Bachelor. Although no person of color has ever been featured on either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, Hurd said that he hasn’t experienced anything negative or discriminatory in his campaign so far. Two black men are filing a class action lawsuit against ABC Studios for racial discrimination.
