CNN’s Erin Burnett spoke with a legal expert who believed that George Zimmerman’s case won’t make it to trial. He argued that prosecutors only chose to charge Zimmerman based on public pressure, and that there isn’t enough evidence against him based on Florida’s “expansive” Stand Your Ground law. Further, he said that Zimmerman only needed to persuade a judge at a preliminary hearing that he was entitled to use lethal force in order to walk away without a trial.
