Tavis Smiley and Cornel West joined CNN to talk about Attorney General Eric Holder meeting with black ministers concerning stricter voter ID laws. Holder, Smiley and West addressed these ID laws as tactics that could suppress the black vote. Smiley and West responded to conservatives saying that Holder has a conflict of interest in pushing black churchgoers to better navigate strict voter ID laws.
