Cherie Johnson Says Her Boyfriend’s Infidelity Inspired the Script for One of Her Recent Films

Cherie Johnson updated Madame Noire on her current career path. She explained that she now spends more time behind the camera than in front of it as a producer and writer. Johnson also revealed that her film, I Do…I Did! was inspired by her real-life partner’s infidelity. Johnson has partnered up with actor Antwone Tanner to form a new production company, and will begin working on films the summer of 2012.
