Russ Parr spoke to 24Wired.TV about what inspired him to write and direct his new film, The Undershepherd. He explained that he conceived of the film out of a concern over corruption among ministers in the black church, although he stressed that he wasn’t looking to “indict” the black church in general. Parr also spoke on the benefit of casting the film with Isaiah Washington and Malinda Williams.
