White Folks Explain Why They Blame Obama

In this original short, three white Americans complain about the problems that plague their lives due to Obama being in office. Each lament personal issues they inexplicably relate to the President’s political policies. In some cases, their grievances pertain to matters the Obama Administration is actually the cause of, but misinterpret the importance or original intent of its decisions.

    hahahaha

  • #winning

wow thanks for a awesome video alot of decisions made arent up to the president and he gets fought on the decisions he is able to make. things have gotten better for my life. finished school, got an apartment, got a job and working on a masters. I havent been able to find a job in a few years mcdonalds didnt even hire me and i dont have a criminal record!!!

    • Common Sense

And all of those things you have succeeded in have everything to do with YOU, and nothing to do with the President. It was you going to school, YOU working hard, and YOU pushing forward. The President has done nothing. Do not give him credit for what YOU have EARNED. Let him earn something for himself.

  • Liekiller

And another thing. WHITE FOLKS? Just let a white person say something like BLACK FOLKS and see what happens to them. Don’t try to make whites out as racists just because they oppose this president. If there’s any racial bias it’s from the black community. Explain Obama’s 90%+ support from blacks in the last election. (Though I see polling indicate that even that is dropping.)

    • Great Goliath

Did you know that Kerrry had a 90%+ support in the last election, and and AL Gore, and Bill Clinton and all the way back to the 1960′s. Black americans vote 90% on ALL democratic candidates. In fact not to long ago a black repuclican was running against a white democrat for Guvernor (I think) and all the blacks voted for the white democrat over the lack republican. Blacks don’t vote by race, they vote by party.

Unlike stupid Republicans, Dark folks vote their interest, and our interest is a jobs bill, tax cuts for the middle-class, and the right to vote without bullshit ID bills.

photo id is fine with me,,,but to do it 3 to 4 months before a presidential election is a boat load of bull dung. if it had been done a year ago it would have been fairer….than to have some yahoo stand on camera and say it was done to control votes ,he belongs in jail just as if he was passing out pints of whiskey for votes. ever try to get an embossed birth certificate .

    • Bob

this generation of black people, by in large, disgust me. Of course their are young smart and intelligent black people, like Malcolm X’s grandson, Malcolm Shabazz.

The amount of reverse-racism and entitlement that exists in most black communities is deplorable. I understand the white ‘devil’ is keeping you down, but whatever happened to the intellectuals that were around during the Harlem renaissance? They were much more impoverished and hated than you black people are today, and they still were able to create an amazing black culuture. But today, instead of rising above your problems, you put them on other people.

      • janetramos

Same can be said of WHITE PEOPLE…..TRAILER PARKS AND SUCH….METH…HMMMMM

        • nothinggirlJane

Yes. Because there are only white people living in trailer parks. No blacks allowed, right? And No blacks use meth, either. Only them crackers!

Poverty and Drug addiction know no racial boundaries.

      • ThePuertoRican

At people like would say, that were no racism, however, all of a sudden, there is reverse of it!

        • ThePuertoRican

People like you, is what I meant to post…..

      • Oldgee11

Bob, if you are going to lecture “this generation of black people” you should take more care in your choice of words. “Their” is a possessive pronoun but, from context, I’m sure you meant to use “there”, as in, there is no such thing as reverse-racism. Racism is racism and it does not have a direction. To assume it does would mean that from white toward any other race is the correct direction and any other direction is backwards. I assume “culuture” is just a typo. I would also disagree that we black people today are not as hated as previous generations. Laws are in place to make expressions of hatred illegal and unacceptable but the hatred is still there, it’s just better hidden. About all we seem to agree on is that black people need to own our problems. We can’t fix problems if we don’t acknowledge our own power to deal with them.

      • DrAmyOn

Bob, do you realize by your generalizations you reveal that you are bias against Blacks?

Lie Killer, you just said Black Follks. Now what has happened to you?

    • Alieninthissociety

      “The Black Vote”
      1984 Walter Mondale 90% Ronald Reagan 9%
      1988 Michael Dukakis 90% George H.W. Bush 10%
      1992 Bill Clinton 83% George H.W. Bush 10%
      1996 Bill Clinton 84% Bob Dole 12%
      2000 Al Gore 90% George W. Bush 9%

It’s not racial bias. It’s party preference.
So Liekiller, I suspect some racism prompted your lying post.

      • Liekiller

You could be right. I forgot how the Democrats fooled blacks into believing it was they who got civil rights legislation passed. (They totally ignore the Dems who were KKK members and others, like Al Gore’s father, who vehemently fought the civil rights legislation.)

        • likekiller is a DOUCHE

I think you also forget how JFK and LBJ changed the face of the Democrat party in the 60s losing hold of the South for generations as a result. Your selective history is laughable. Yes there were plenty of racist Democrats… in the 60s. Point is today, all the racists are in the Republican Party. It’s today for which you should be ashamed. That is if you had the ability to feel shame. Doubtful.

        • http://www.facebook.com/Goose.FD Jerry Jay Bombero

Apparently you forgot the philisophical shift both parties underwent in the 50s and 60s, in essence swapping platforms. The Democrats (Dixiecrats) became Republican, and Republicans became Democrats…or maybe you didn’t forget and you’re choosing to ignore this huge, glaring fact of history because it doesn’t support the narrative you’re trying to push.

You are mistaken. Al Gore Sr. voted against the CRA of 64 but for the CRA of 65. He was one of only two Southern Senators who refused to sign the Southern Manifesto opposing segregation in schools. He ultimately sacrificed his political career for civil rights.

      • likekiller is a DOUCHE

No. He’s just wallowing in a sewer of his own ignorance.

    • likekiller is a DOUCHE

You’re not racist because you oppose the president. You’re racist because you’re a racist, as in you think you’re superior to other races, and creeds and orientations, et cetera, et cetera. Someone get this fool a dictionary for Christmas.

    • Roguescr1be

Explain…hmmm, well it could be because republicans since LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act have courted and organized around racists and anti-government zealots.

Every Democrat running for president has had more than 90% of the Black vote…even John Kerry. Lets stop being stupid for one second.

  • Conservative

I do love to read these posts from so many ill-advised democrats who have no clue as to why things never seem to get any better no matter what promises are made to them by their overlords. It does alot to help explain why these democrats vote the way they do and why the only arguement they have is to attack the person not the point on any BS other then the facts. Go ahead and call me a racist, you dont know me or anything about my beliefs so if it helps you out then yes i am an uneducated racist, conservative.

Logan, you completely missed Conservative’s point.S/he is saying that Democrats can’t argue with facts, so they must use tactics such as race baiting to divert attention from this fact. How about refuting Conservative’s statements by providing evidence to prove s/he wrong?

    • Angela

I will repeat an earlier post below….. but I will also add something to it by saying…. Today’s politics is totally Partisan. There is No compromising. Both have the attitude that it is my way – or it doesn’t get done. BOTH PARTIES are acting this way. That is the first reason why NOTHING gets done.Taxpayer dollars are wasted every day by both the Republican Congress trying to repeal Obamacare ( coincidentally ….very similar to Romney’s healthcare plan in Massachusetts) – and – the Democratic Senate – not passing Job bills.
The economy was booming during the Clinton years. The tax codes were
fairer and tax revenue reduced the deficit. There were tighter
regulations on the banking industry – commercial was separate from
venture capital and risk investing. As a result, the deficit was not an
issue. During the Bush years, banking regulations became lax, tax breaks
were increased for the rich and US Corporations that were funding those
in power. This started the soaring deficit and all that GREED
in banking industry precipitated the crash on Wall Street.
We need to STOP the Spending and
return to the tax codes and regulations from twenty years ago! The RICH will continue to get richer in a growth economy.

      • Izzardfan

The reason the Democratic Senate isn’t passing jobs bills is because they only have a slight majority, and the “new rules” prevent a bill from passing unless it has 60 votes, instead of the 51 it used to require. Those “new rules” were put in place by Republicans to keep the Democrats from getting what they want.

        • clevonlittle

not quite….. Senate rules have been in place longer than anyone serving today has been in office. Same rules were used by southern ” Dixiecrats” to slow , and block , civil rights measures in the 50′s and 60′s.
Problem Reid has is that he doesn’t have a “progressive ” majority within his own party. Most votes would not have a simple majority of 51 votes. Mo., WV., send more conservative representatives than Ill. or Ny. Reid isn’t allowing votes because their failure would embarrass his side in an election year. Filibuster threats have been a part of Senate function for a long, long, time. Reid has used the same rules to his benefit many times.Sorry your post is not accurate, nor true. McConnell and McCain have many times asked for Reid to call up Bills that would not face any threat of filibuster.

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Ronald-Reed/100003330363007 Ronald Reed

Expect that to change if the (r)’s get simple majority, I have already heard this on fox.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Ronald-Reed/100003330363007 Ronald Reed

Allow me to add if I may, Romneys healthcare was written by the Heritage Foundation an extremist right wing propaganda mill that by the way has now completely changed direction to fall in line with anything what-so-ever done by any Democrat must be bad.

Actually, the housing debacle was started by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd toward the end of the Clinton years. The good intentions of Democrats (with the encouragement of their banking buddies who own the Democratic party) have led to more problems in this country than anything done by Republicans. The worse things done by Republicans in the last 25 years were Clinton’s impeachment and the near disaster of a war in Iraq.

    • Super Dave

Actually, it started under the Carter administration with the Community Reinvestment Act. Clinton expanded the program, and to be fair, so did Bush. BAnks aren’t stupid. If the Gubmint forces them to take risk, they will actively try to negate that risk. Dodd and Franks were tasked to keep an eye on Freddy and Fannie. Gut instinct tells me they knew what was going to happen, but were hoping it would happen a little later than it did.

Hahaha,Google home “ownership challenge” part of bushs great ownership society, have you really been so brainwashed you cant remember any of this? But google this and you will even see speeches where bush himself bragged about giving loans to people who had no down payment and could not prove income. Now those are fact with citation do you have any proof with citations included? I wonder if you will think the bush speeches are a hoax… hahaha

  • LT

Hey Nag (Nitwit) – Bush may have been the POTUS but he was stuck with a Dem Congress and it was Dems Barney Frank & Chris Dodd who are responsible for the housing bust. You get an ‘A’ for being assinine. As for calling ‘d’ dumb and/or stupid…aren’t you the pot calling the kettle black? Knucklehead. Why don’t you educate yourself. People like you are a national embarrassmnet.

what was it that the Dems got passed in the 2 years they had during Bush? What was it that they made law without the President signing. Come with facts and you don’t sound like a fool.

      • philip.kern

Is your point that Bush was so bipartisan that he didn’t veto much, but now that the president is a Democrat, there is a lack of bipartisanship in Washington? Bush’s tenure saw a 27 per cent increase in federal funds spent on banking regulation, while it has decreased under the current president. When the Bush admin went to congress to talk about the dangers of the mortgage situation, B. Frank called it an assault on poor people and one black congressmen invoked the term “lynching”.

The bought and paid for media covers up the fact that democrats have destroyed the communities and opportunities of black Americans in particular. Just look at all the majority black population cities. The democrats have been in charge there for 60 years or more. For generations. Look what a mess they have created. Crime. Unemployment. Violence. Broken homes. Millions of kids without fathers. In fact, look at the whole country. It gets worse and worse the more democrat policies are in place. But really, it’s bizarre how most black Americans keep voting democratic, even though the democrats are responsible for the destruction of those communities in particular. The democrats are good at lying and manipulating the masses.

white folks….whatever that means. let me say that the black folks choose the same leaders, over and over and over, but remain the group w/ the highest unemployment, highest divorce rate, highest incidents of teenage preganancy, hightest percentage of single mothers, the list goes on andon. A “white hispanic” as you call him, shoots a black man and rev. tawana sharpton, and jesse “got caught in the bushes…..AGAIN” jackson come out in full force, while blacks kill blacks everyday, thousands of them, yet jackson and sharpton are somehow able to make the black voters focus on this one incident, all the while raking in millions of private and gov’t (my) money. They know if they can keep you hatin’ that one “white guy” they can prevent the black voters from seeing the real truth, the abject failure that this president has been for 3.5 years, and your leaders like sharptona and jackson have been for the last 35 years. They know that if you would judge them by the content of their character, you would have pushed them aside and moved forward on your own, unfortunately, you choose the let the man keep you down, ironically, though, the “man” keeping you down are black men.

When are Republicans going to take ANY responsibility for what happened on their watch?

Republicans spent eight years raiding the US Treasury, screwing the American public and wasting the lives of US service members [1] under the administration of George W. “Gosh, I can’t think of a single thing I did wrong” Bush.

But look at the comments here: Every apologist for the GOP is bending over backwards to find some ANYONE else to blame.
“Boo hoo, we were just perfect freaking angels the whole 8 years and then that Nancy Pelosi was mean to us! And Clinton too! It’s all their fault! WHY WON’T ANYONE BELIEVE US?!!!!”
    _________
[1] And will again if they’re elected this November.

  • kock_n_bull

Very good LK – “way too ironic”. But what can you expect from this generation’s “wordsmiths”.

  • Oluseyi

You mean the civil rights legislation signed by Lyndon B. Johnson, Texas Democrat, JFK VP/successor and then democratically elected president in his own right? Or maybe the civil rights legislation for which more democrats voted than republicans in every version at both levels of congress, such as the 1964 Civil Rights Act for which not a single southern republican voted in either the House or Senate?

Yeah, I wonder where they ever got that idea! :-P

  • Liekiller

I see you’ve gone to the Pinocchio school of US History. ONE republican joined EIGHTEEN Southern Democrats in filibustering the legislation. (Legislation FIRST attempted by Eisenhower and blocked then by Democrats.)

But hey, I’m glad your ignorance reared its ugly head. Perhaps those seeing this will actually research this and learn how their schools and the press have been lying to them about this all their lives.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_GQLVF5JUB5AMJZA3FZDVIECHSE Crazy Otto

Actually Johnson needed Republicans to help pass the Civil rights legislation in both the House and the Senate. Dems voted against the bill on average in both houses 34%versus Repub.s 18.5%. But then again. If Republicans had voted en mass against the bill it would not have passed.. Then again facts are stubborn things

Huh???? You dunce. There was more dems in the senate and house at that time. If you look on a percentage basis Republicans voted in higher percentages for the bill. Not only that you mention republicans in the south. There were precious few until the 80′s.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/UKOIGOJU7DITMXYC5QXSGKOAYY Jack

Not so, except in absolute numbers, because Congress was over 2/3 Democrat back then. A higher percentage of Republican Congressmen voted for passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Just as it was the Democrat FDR who put Japanese=Americans into concentration camps.

  • Bob

    > But what can you expect from this generation’s “wordsmiths”?

    Fixed that for you.

  • onionpants

Yeah, and then what happened? All those Southern Democrats deserted the Democratic party precisely BECAUSE of the Civil Rights Act. And as a result, the South is lock-step Republican. Nice try, buddy.

  • LongTom

Yeah, but those 18 Democrats all became Republicans once Nixon convinced them that the Republican party had their backs on racial issues.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_KTOP2QWFRBK2N2KRHG5MALU6V4 Kevin

First of all this argument, just as similar ones regarding republicans and Lincoln are disingenuous at best – everyone knows that the Democratic or Republican parties of today are not the same as their previous incarnations. And to continue to push that falsehood is the height of hubris and arrogance

  • Liekiller

Really? Then you wouldn’t mind providing the names of those Democrats turned Republican? Robert Byrd? Nope, never left D party. (Did leave the KKK though. Kind of looked bad for the D party.) Al Gore Sr.? Wait, no, never left D party. George Wallace? Nope.

So to whom are you referring?

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/UKOIGOJU7DITMXYC5QXSGKOAYY Jack

That’s quite true. All of those dumb crackers hijacked my Party. Do you know how that came about, though? It used to be that the political parties could exercise control over who their political candidates were. Them the New Democrats swept into power, following Watergate, in the 1974 Congressional elections. They shattered the control of the parties, blindly assuming that that would result in greater ‘democracy’. Instead, it set off the complete corruption of our political system. Whoever took the most bribes could fund the biggest campaign machine. If they were, for example, a powerful Committee Chairman, the money would rain down upon them. In turn, they would have enough to give out to other politicians, ensuring their loyalty and support for the legislation desired by those who bribed them. Similarly, outside fundraisers could amass extensive lists of potential donors, using these and their schmooze to bundle large sums of money together, leaving those upon whom they bestowed it beholden to them. Thanks, Democrats.

  • LongTom

The southern Democrats who opposed the civil rights bills all became Republicans because of Nixon’s race-baiting “southern strategy.” And the northern Republicans who supported the bill have slowly been purged from the party. The Republican party is dominated by right wing xenophobes, militarists, racists, anti-government nutbars, and religious fanatics.

  • LongTom

Wallace sure left the party, started his own. Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms turned Republican. Most others were DINOs, preferring to retain their committee chairmanships and seniority until they retired, to be replaced by the solid (white) Republican south of Trent Lott. The Civil Rights and Voting Rights bills were proposed, lobbied for, and signed into law by Democratic presidents (and opposed by the Republican nominee for president in 1964), over the objections of southern Dixiecrats and right wing Republicans. Goldwater’s opposition to civil rights won the south for him in 1964. The current Republican Party is completely dominated by right wing zealots and white southerners, the same coalition that opposed the Civil Rights bills of the mid-60s in the US senate.

  • azchief32

All of the Senators that you are talking about stayed Democrat until they retired except for Thurmond. The Dems spent 100 years after the civil war keeping blacks from voting through fear or force.

  • Dem in Bama

Wallace did run for president as an American Independent in ’68 but in 64, ’72 and 76 ran for president in the Democratic Primaries. After his national run in 68 he was elected 3 more times as governor of Alabama on the democratic ticket. So you are wrong. George Wallace never left the democratic party. He was a member of the Democratic Party until the day he died.

I think getting wrapped up in Dem versus Republican is silly. The consistent fact is conservatives have perpetuated all of these things: slavery, Jim Crow, lynchings, KKK, Southern Strategy…and liberals and progressives have fought for equality.
