Madame Noire spoke with Elle Varner, Melanie Thornton and Marsha Ambrosius at the ASCAP Awards. Varner discussed her success as one of the few top 40 women in urban radio. Thornton said what she looked forward to hearing from Quincy Jones during the ceremony. Ambrosius said what it meant to her to be present at the event.
