Rev. Al Sharpton discredited the character of Horace Cooper, whose study found that blacks and the poor are the most common victims of voter fraud. Sharpton stressed the fact that Horace Cooper was indicted in 2009 on five corruption charges. Sharpton also bashed Cooper’s claim that new voter ID laws increased black turnout in three states.
