Spike Lee Talks Reprising Role of ‘Mookie’ in ‘Red Hook Summer’

Spike Lee discussed his upcoming film, Red Hook Summer, on Good Morning America. He said that while he’s “out of the business” of telling people what to think through his films, he welcomes audiences to draw their own conclusions from the material in the movie. Lee also touched upon returning to his role of “Mookie,” first established in his 1989 film, Do the Right Thing.
