Jordin Sparks, Carmen Ejogo and Tika Sumpter discussed what it was like working with Whitney Houston on the set of Sparkle. Sumpter said that talking about Houston during Sparkle interviews is an opportunity to celebrate who she was. Ejogo and Sparks said that Houston was more supportive and nurturing than she was ever obligated to be during the movie’s production.
