Tristan Walker, a black former executive of Foursquare, set up an internship program for college students aiming to diversify executive leadership in Silicon Valley. Walker argued that representation of racial minorities is disproportionately low in the Valley compared to their growing national population. Walker is now an entrepreneur for Andreessen Horowitz.
