Sheriff’s officials are searching for a husband and wife wanted for allegedly shooting a deputy and carjacking multiple vehicles. Darnell Washington, 24, and his wife Tania, 25, are accused of shooting an L.A. County sheriff’s deputy early Sunday morning. It happened just before 9 a.m. outside a convenience store and burger joint on Durfee Avenue and Michael Hunt Drive in South El Monte.
