Peter Jackson directs an adaptation from another one of J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved classics. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey stars Martin Freeman as the title character and features Ian McKellen in the reprisal of his role as Gandalf. The film is set to open nationally December 14, 2012.
