During his “Number” segment, T.J. Holmes discussed how much PBS actually receives in federal funding. The topic was inspired by the first debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney, during which Romney said he didn’t see the point of further funding the station. Holmes said that cutting PBS would not significantly help balance the federa budget.
