Newt Gingrich on the Election: Republicans Must Rethink How to Approach Racial Minorities

Newt Gingrich said that he and other political pundits misinterpreted the needs of the nation going into the 2012 presidential election. He admitted assuming that with an unemployment rate at approximately eight percent, President Obama would not win re-election. Gingrich admitted that Republicans would have to “rethink” what the people want in a president, including on a racial level.
