In part 1 of the 2013 Oscars, Seth MacFarlane is visited by William Shatner’s Captain Kirk from the Star Trek universe. Kirk, who’s travelled back in time, warns MacFarlane that he’s going to ruin The Oscars if he doesn’t change course, and cites different bits that MacFarlane is about to show or perform that will hurt the ceremony. One of them includes a sock puppet reenactment of Denzel Washington’s movie, Flight. The sock puppet satire is shown at minute 10:50
