On the pilot episode of Hit the Floor, Ahsha Hayes tries out for the Los Angeles Devils dance team. Her mother, a former member of the team, warns her about the danger of involving herself in the Devils lifestyle. Ahsha makes new friends and an enemy as she draws closer to her dream of being a successful professional dancer.
